This highly detailed, 6" resin Basilisk figure is part of McFarlane's Fantasy: Legend of the BladeHunters Series 1. Known in folklore as the "Lake Demons of the Baran'osh," the northern Basilisks are large serpentine beasts that haunt the darkwater lakes of the northern territories. Said to feed on the souls of the living, these fast-moving, cold-blooded creatures are believed to be attracted to the warmth of the human spirit. Found alone, or in schools of as many as 300, basilisks are most at home in water, but they have been known to venture onto land if their hunger is great enough. This fearsome figure measures 6 1/8" tall at the highest point on its raised wing and is articulated at the neck and shoulders. The base of its tail is bendable.
